When people ask me what kind of photographs I take I answer in one of two ways. I usually say I’m a landscape photographer, and landscapes are certainly my favourite subject. But often I say I shoot the light, which is what I really do, and is what photography is all about - the light.

I am an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society (ARPS), and in 2009 I gained a Distinction from the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (DPAGB). I am a frequent exhibitor, with over 100 acceptances in national and international photographic exhibitions and in 2011 was awarded Artiste Federation Internationale de L’Art Photographique (AFIAP). I have also been particularly pleased to have gained awards in 4 of the ‘Landscape Photographer of the Year’ exhibitions, and in the 'International Garden Photographer of the Year' competition in 2012. In 2013 I obtained a 1st Class honours degree in Photography from Westminster University.

The photographs on this site were all taken digitally, using Nikon or Fuji equipment and shot in RAW format.
